How do I prevent getting COVID-19 from a sick family member?

If, unfortunately, a member of our family member has tested positive for the Coronavirus. Then we must protect ourselves and the rest.

What should I do?
To answer this question, we can list 2 parts. One part is for the one who infected one. Another is about the rest who is healthy.

Caring for the sick one.
Prepare a separate bedroom and bathroom for him/her.
If possible, have the person who is sick stay in their own “sick room” or area and away from others.
Try to stay at least 6 feet away from the sick person.
Make sure they have a basket, hamper or bag in the sick room to put clothes, towels, washcloths, and bedding in.
Have them put it outside their door when it’s full, or wear a mask over your mouth and nose when you go in to get it.
Wash their clothes, towels, and bedding separately from anyone else’s.
Ask the sick person to put on a mask before entering the room.
Everyone who has presumed or confirmed COVID-19 should stay home and isolate themselves from other people for at least 5 full days.

Care for the rest who is healthy.
Put on a mask.
Wear gloves when you touch or have contact with the sick person’s blood, stool, or body fluids, such as saliva, mucus, vomit, and urine. Throw out gloves into a lined trash can and wash your hands right away.
Practice everyday preventive actions to keep from getting sick: wash your hands often; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; and frequently clean and disinfect surfaces.
